I am a Full Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics, Kathmandu University, Nepal. I have a PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) from the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics, University of Osnabrück, Germany. I was supported by DAAD Fellowship during my PhD Study. I have delivered lectures on university levels Statistics and Mathematics courses, for more than 25 years.
My research focus is on the development and application of Statistics to problems from Health, Energy and Environment. This is done in the landscape of limited and scarce data, especially from the developing world.
