Rajeev Namboothiri

Dr. Rajeev Namboothiri is a Senior Scientist of Operations Research at the General Electric Global Research Center, based out of Bangalore, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the H.Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. He has also completed his post-doctoral fellowship from CIRRELT, Canada. Dr. Namboothiri has been working at GE since 2011, developing multiple innovative solutions based on Operations Research across GE’s industrial businesses, delivering impactful results improving the bottom-line of the Business. He is a finalist at the Euro Excellence in Practice Award for 2019 and was selected as a semifinalist at the Daniel H. Wagner Prize for Excellence in Operations Research Practice in 2017. Dr. Namboothiri has also received multiple Above & Beyond awards within GE for project leadership and operational execution. His work primarily focuses on Resource Scheduling, Supply Chain Optimization, and Vehicle Routing.
