Georgia Fargetta was born in Milan (Italy) the 9th of July 1995. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics in 2017 and a Master's Degree in Mathematics in 2019 at the University of Catania. At the beginning of 2018 she began to collaborate with the Operational Research Group of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Catania and became passionate about research topics related to the domains of Game Theory, Variational Inequalities, Nash Equilibria... From 2019 to today she is Ph.D. student at the same department under the supervision of prof. Mario F. Pavone, who explore the field of optimization focusing on the use of metaheuristic algorithms and the supervision of Prof. Laura R. M. Scrimali, who explore the field of Operational Research. At the beginning of 2019 she began to collaborate with the Complex Intelligent System (CIS) Research Group of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Catania and became passionate about research topics related to the domains of Game Theory, Variational Inequalities, Convex Optimization, Supply Chian, Nash Equilibria, Agent Behaviour Optimization...
She is currently the author of more than 10 scientific publications and has participated in numerous scientific events of an international nature. In the Academic Year 2021--2022, she was chosen by EURO WISDOM to represent one of the Young Women for Operational Research.Georgia Fargetta was born in Milan (Italy) the 9th of July 1995.
