The general purpose of the workshop (i.e., EWG-MCDA 98th and EWG-BOR 5th Joint workshop) is to provide an opportunity for colleagues working at the intersection BOR and MCDM to get together, with a view to develop potential research collaborations. Equally, the event may provide an opportunity to those working on other BOR and MCDM topics to learn from each other’s work, and explore potential synergies.

Tentative program
- Differently from the EWG-MCDA meeting use, the meeting will start on Thursday morning and will end on Friday afternoon
- Sessions will be mixed so that presentations related to the EWG-MCDA group and others related to the EWG-BOR are given in the same session
Presentations could be:
- Standard 20 minutes presentation
- Short presentation (5 minutes + 3 minutes for discussion)
- Poster*
- Discussion paper (without presentation)
* Posters can be related to the short presentations, but it is not mandatory
Moreover
- Presentation of the laureate of the Bernard Roy Award (40 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion)
- A round table on the topic of the meeting will take place on Friday afternoon
- A special issue linked to the conference will be included in JMCDA
